The Best Dressed Stars at The Emmy Awards 2022

6 October 2022

The Emmys are a chance for television to shine. After two years of Covid-enforced disruption, the 74th annual ceremony has returned to the 7,100-seat Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, and with it, full-frontal red carpet attire.

Many of the celebrities present tonight maintained the event’s enduringly glitzy atmosphere. The designer outfits had more sequins than a Studio 54 disco ball, and they shone brightly. Most of them were straightforward and sleek since the best gowns of the evening went all-out with sequins and beads.

Which celebs from tonight’s 2022 Emmy Awards were your favorites? Check out your favorite A-listers’ looks down below.

  • Zendaya is sporting Bulgari and Valentino jewelry

I can’t recall the last time Zendaya attended an awards ceremony when she wasn’t listed as having the greatest outfit. Maybe never?! Any appearance by the Emmy-winning Euphoria actress ensures a flood of adoring Twitter and Instagram posts. We keep wondering how she always manages to stay on top of her game, from staying fit to delivering standing-ovation performances.

Tonight was the same: Her half-up, half-down hairstyle, as well as a brilliant diamond necklace, look stunning with her understated yet striking Valentino ballgown in sleek black.

  • Ho-Yeon Jung in Louis Vuitton

Sae-Book may not have won Squid Game, but she is undoubtedly a red carpet champion in real life as Jung Ho-Yeon. Since making her Netflix debut, she has become one of the top asian celebs in the Hollywood industry. the model-turned-actor has posed for numerous photos showcasing her classy, elegant, and unquestionably cool sense of style.

This Louis Vuitton beaded dress added a vibrant flash of color and a subtle yet sensual accent to the outfit with its low-cut neckline and thigh-high slit. The delicate headband that adorned her wispy bangs was also something I much admired as a long-time member of the fringe community.

  • Lizzo in Giambattista Valli

Lizzo’s celebration of her body, curves and all, never gets old to me. She accomplished precisely that while wearing a dramatic, enormous crimson gown. In addition, Lizzo, as always, used the occasion to honor other “large ladies” like herself by accepting the trophy for her program Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls.

In addition to requesting that everyone “make some noise for my big girls,” who are highlighted on her show, she also dedicated the trophy to each of them. One of the biggest platforms in the world hosting a huge lady wearing a couture gown is just *a chef’s kiss*, and I enjoy watching her consistently outdo herself in terms of style. She appeared stunning.

  • Christina Ricci in Fendi

I’m here to witness Christina Ricci’s comeback. The Yellowjackets star stole the show on the red carpet in this gorgeous, custom-made Fendi Couture gown and purse. She had a gorgeous silhouette, and I adore how she kept her makeup minimal to let the outfit take center stage. It’s a 10/10.

  • Quinta Brunson in Dolce & Gabbana

On television and in the realm of fashion, the creator of Abbot Elementary is rewriting history. The Emmy contender, who is reportedly 4’11”, caught everyone’s attention when she walked the red carpet in a custom Dolce & Gabbana gown and coordinating sky-high sandals.

She described herself as having a “brown, lovely, little little, tiny Jessica Rabbit vibe” to Laverne Cox on live !’s From the Red Carpet. You don’t understand how difficult it is to be a woman with my appearance, the fictitious character memorably claimed. Brunson, though, made it appear simple while channeling her.
