For thin hair, volume-boosting looks can be created with blow-drying techniques and styling products. Make sure you have hair resolutions as well to safeguard them from further thinning.

A few suggestions to add volume to thin hair includes:

Blow Drying With A Round Brush

The best way to get maximum volume when blow-drying with a round brush is to start at the roots and work your way down. Wash your hair. Apply mousse or volumizing spray throughout your hair for added texture and hold. Once applied, use the round brush to lift sections of the hair, starting from around two inches above root level and moving upwards towards your scalp as you dry each section. As sections dry, make sure to roll them away from the face to encourage the formation of curls or waves. As an extra step, for a softer, bouncer result, lightly re-curl the ends of your hair with the round brush while it is still hot.

Back Combing Beach Waves

Begin by applying a heat-protectant spray before starting to curl with your curling iron. Separate the hair into sections and start at the top layer, clamping strands of hair below the chin. Hold each section for up to 15 seconds, alternating directions each time, to achieve soft, flowy waves rather than tight curls. Once done, work through more texture paste or mousse to add some grip, and then use a tooth comb or heated teasing brush to backcomb the roots gently to get a stronghold with the maximum lift which will give you wave an extra lift making them look stylized

Applying Dry Shampoo Root To The Tip

After curling and teasing, finish off by spraying some dry shampoo from root to tip. This will help mattify any oil or grease from products used before and also give the hair additional texture so it looks fuller and volumized. Just remember to spray from a distance so that not too much product is deposited in one place, and then let it sit for a couple of minutes before brushing and then teasing with your fingers.

A Flexible Hold Hairspray To Seal It All In Place

When you want your style to stand out, use a flexible hairspray like L'Oreal Paris Elnett Precious Oil Hairspray that offers long-lasting hold without leaving behind any excess residue as well as giving your locks extra shine! This becomes especially important when creating an intricate style since you need something strong enough to keep all sections in place without becoming too hard or rigid so make sure to spritz some hairspray lightly onto each section for a final bit of seal.

Teasing At The Crown Of Your Head

To create even more volume using teasing, begin at the roots of your hair and tease small sections upward with a fine-toothed comb. Make sure to hold the section securely while you tease to help ensure that it retains its shape when released. Once each section has been teased, gather them together into one larger twist and again go through with your comb by lightly brushing over the top for an extra boost of volume.

Using Rollers On Just The Ends For Long-Lasting Curls

Rollers are great for creating long-lasting curls and big, beautiful waves. To achieve this look, you'll need to roll up just the ends of your hair; leaving unrolled sections in between the rolled parts will give you that beachy, wavy look. Be sure to curl away from your face for added volume, then use hairspray once all of your hair is fully curled as it will help keep them intact throughout the day. For an even longer-lasting wave effect, get a new haircut and must use flexi rods instead of traditional hot curlers or heated rollers!
