One Bite Samosa, Samosa, Snack

Ingredients:

  • For Samosa Filling
    • ½ kg Potatoes (Boiled)
    • 1½ Tbsp Red Chilli Powder
    • 1 Tsp Salt
    • ½ Tsp Chicken Powder
    • 1 Tsp Chaat Masala
  • For Chaat Masala
    • 1 Tsp Citric Acid / Tatri
    • 1 Tsp Chicken Powder
    • 1 Tsp Chaat Masala
    • 1 Tsp Cumin Powder (crushed)
    • 1 Tsp Salt
    • 1 Tbsp Red Chilli Powder
  • For Samosa Binding
    • ½ Cup Flour
    • Water As Per Required
    • Samosa Sheets
  • For Frying
    • Oil For frying

Instructions:

1. In a mixing bowl, mash the boiled potatoes and add red chili powder, salt, chicken powder, and chaat masala to it. Mix well and keep aside.
2. Take the flour in a mixing bowl and add water gradually to make a smooth dough. Knead the dough for a few minutes and let it rest for 10-15 minutes.
3. Take one sheet and fold it into a triangle shape, sealing the edges with water.
4. Fill the cone with the potato mixture.
5. Seal the open edge of the cone with water to make a samosa.
6. Repeat the process with the rest of the sheets and filling.
7. Heat the oil in a deep frying pan and fry the samosas until they turn golden brown in color.
8. In another mixing bowl, add red chili powder, citric acid, chicken powder, chaat masala, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well to make the masala and keep aside.
9. Sprinkle chaat masala on hot samosa
