Fried Kidney Beans
A very famous Indian food that is slowly gaining momentum in Pakistani menus! Pair it with white rice and make it authentic like the Indian rajma recipe.
Fried Kidney Beans
Ingredients:
- 3 Cup Red Kidney Beans Boiled
- 1 Cup Tomatoes Boiled & Chopped
- 1 Onion Finely Cut
- 1 tbsp Ginger/Garlic Paste
- 1 tsp Red Chili Crushed
- ¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp Cumin Seed Crushed
- 1 tbsp Coriander Seed Crushed
- ½ tsp Garam Masala
- 5 Green Chilies Cut Lengthwise
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 4 Dried Round Red Chilies
- ¾ Cup Oil
Instructions:
- Heat oil in a pot and fry the onion until golden, add red chilies, ginger/garlic paste, and lightly fry.
- Add tomatoes, red chilies, turmeric powder, and salt, fry, and add kidney beans.
- Add cream, hot spices powder, coriander seeds, and cumin seeds, leave on dum.
- Add lemon juice and transfer to a dish and garnish with green chilies.
- Serve fried kidney beans with rice.
