Chicken Burritos
Amazing chicken burritos recipe for Iftar snacks.
Chicken Roll, Burritos, Starter
Ingredients:
- For Burritos Dough
- 250 Grams Refined Flour
- 3 Tbsp Refined Flour
- Salt To Taste
- ¼ Cup Milk
- 2 Tbsp Butter
- For Burritos Filling
- ¼ Cup Oil
- 3 Cloves Garlic (Chopped)
- 2 Pieces Chicken Breast (Finely Cut)
- 1 Carrot (Julienne Cut)
- 1 Capsicum (Julienne Cut)
- 1 Tbsp Soya Sauce
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- Salt To Taste
- ½ Tsp Black Pepper Powder
- 2 Spring Onions
- 1 Stick Celery (Julienne Cut)
Instructions:
For Burritos Dough
1. In a mixing bowl, combine 250 grams of refined flour, 3 tablespoons of oil, salt to taste, 1/4 cup of milk, and 2 tablespoons of butter. Mix well to form a smooth dough.
2. Divide the dough into small portions and roll each portion into thin circles.
3.Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Cook each burrito until lightly browned on both sides. Keep aside.
For the Filling:
4. Heat 1/4 cup of oil in a pan. Add 3 cloves of chopped garlic and sauté until fragrant.
5. Add 2 finely cut chicken breasts to the pan and cook until the chicken turns golden brown.
6. Add 1 julienne cut carrot, 1 julienne cut capsicum, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, salt to taste, and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper powder. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
7. Add 2 chopped spring onions and 1 julienne cut stick of celery to the pan. Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Assembling:
1. Take each burrito and add a spoonful of the filling to the center of each burrito.
2. Fold the sides of the burrito towards the center and then roll the burrito tightly from one end to the other end.
3. Repeat the process for the remaining burritos.
4. Serve hot with your favorite dip.
