Chana Papri Chaat, Chana Caat, Papri Chaat

Ingredients:

  • Prepare Papri Dough:
    • 1 Cup All Purpose Flour
    • Salt To Taste
    • ¼ Tsp Ajwain
    • 2 tsp Ghee
    • Water As Required
    • Oil For Frying
  • For Chaat Assembling:
    • 2 Cups Chickpeas (Boiled)
    • ½ Tsp Salt
    • 2 tsp Chaat Masala
    • 2 tsp Red Chili Flakes
    • 2 tsp Cumin Roasted (crushed)
    • 2 tbsp Green Chutney
    • ½ Cup Onion (Sliced)
    • ½ Cup Tomatoes (Chopped)
    • 2 Medium Potato (boiled) (Cube Cut)
    • ½ Cup Coriander Leaves (Chopped)
    • 1½ Cup Yogurt (Whisked)

Instructions:

1.In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, salt, ajwain, and ghee.
2.Gradually add water to the mixture, and knead it into a firm dough.
3.Roll out the dough into a thin sheet, and cut it into small rounds using a cookie cutter or a lid.
4.Heat oil in a pan over medium heat, and fry the papri rounds until they turn golden brown and crispy.
5.Remove the papri rounds from the pan, and place them on a paper towel to absorb excess oil. Set them aside.
6.In a mixing bowl, combine the boiled chickpeas, salt, chaat masala, red chili flakes, roasted cumin, green chutney, sliced onion, chopped tomatoes, green chili, boiled potato and coriander leaves.
7.Add yogurt, and mix well.
