Ingredients:

  • For Filling:
    • 1 Cup Potatoes (Boiled Mashed)
    • 1 tsp Cumin (crushed)
    • 1 tsp Cumin (Crushed)
    • 2 tbsp Red Chili Powder
    • 1 tbsp Chaat Masala
    • 1½ Tsp Salt
    • 2 tbsp Coriander (Chopped)
    • 1 tbsp Green Chili (Chopped)
    • 4 Slices Bread
  • For Batter:
    • 1 Cup Gram Flour (Besan)
    • Salt To Taste
    • 1 tsp Ajwain
    • 1 tsp Red Chili Powder
    • ½ Tsp Turmeric Powder
    • ½ Cup Coriander (chopped)
    • ¾ Cup Water
    • 2 Tbsp Oil

Instructions:

1. To make the filling mix together mashed potato, cumin, Coriander, Chaat Masala coriander, green chili, red chili powder, and salt.
2. Mix well and smear on 2 of the slices of bread. Cover the bread with the remaining slice.
3. In a bowl mix together besan, salt, ajwain, chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric, and water. Whisk to make a batter.
4. Assembling the bread pakora with filling.
5. Heat a pan and drizzle oil. Dip the stuffed bread completely in the batter.
6. Cook for about 3 minutes and then turn the bread.
7. Then using tongs lift the bread pakora and cook on all sides to make sure it is cooked from all sides.
8. Remove and cut into a triangle.
