a 20-year Gallup poll survey has released a good study result for the people looking at the consumption patterns of Gen-Z and Millenials. The survey shows

  • Smoking stats are lower in the sample size of people who graduate from college
  • The age group of 18 - 29 has shown a massive decline in smoking cigarettes in the past decade.
  • Young adults are opting to vape instead of a cigarette
  • Marijuana is still a bane for the youth and they consume it.

The Gallup results shared read, “Given these differences, young adults are more likely to vape than to smoke cigarettes, while among older age groups, cigarette smoking prevails. These data suggest that much of the decline in cigarette smoking among young adults may have been offset by vaping, indicating that young adults are still smoking products containing nicotine, but through different means.”

So the net result is that lung-killing causes like smoking are still there and America has to reduce its smoking habits for a healthy future!
