Swara Bhasker Declined To Star With King Khan

In a recent interview, actress Swara Bhasker opened up about her interaction with director Aanand L. Rai and her desire to work with him in a film. Bhasker revealed that she had recommended herself to Rai for a role but expressed her reluctance to play a mother or sister character.

According to Bhasker, Rai informed her that the only role available was that of a mother, which she declined. The actress, who is known for her bold and unconventional choices, expressed her preference for diverse and challenging roles.

Bhasker also shared her admiration for Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, stating that she grew up watching his films. However, she humorously mentioned that his iconic movie, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, had "ruined her life."

The mentioned film, "Zero," directed by Rai, revolves around the story of Bauua Singh, a vertically challenged man played by Shah Rukh Khan. The movie featured an ensemble cast including Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif as the female leads. Several notable actors, such as Alia Bhatt, Juhi Chawla, Remo D'Souza, Kajol, Karisma Kapoor, Salman Khan, Rani Mukerji, Deepika Padukone, and Sridevi, made special appearances in the film as themselves.
