In a separate incident, the Customs officials intercepted a container at the Torkham border that was carrying 40 tonnes of smuggled urea fertilizer destined for Afghanistan. The smugglers had prepared fake documents of rice cargo for the container, but the Customs officials were able to detect the illicit goods.

The export of urea from the country is strictly prohibited, and the Customs officials have taken swift action against the smugglers. The container has been seized, and an accused has been arrested in connection with the crime. Muhammad Tayeb, the Additional Collector Customs, commended the efforts of his team and reiterated the department's commitment to cracking down on smuggling activities.
