Furthermore, the increasing food costs at the grocery store be it milk, eggs or canned food, or festive season essentials going low.

According to the United State Bureau of Labor Statistics' Consumer Price Index, the cost of food in your home has risen 13% over the past year. 1. Plan Your Menu Around Sales & Local Produce


Check out for sales, clip those discount coupons and go to stores where items are at better prices. Just because you like the vibe of a certain place does not mean that you go there even if it is pricey. Many stores have free turkeys this season so do check them out.

Always buy local produce of the season, because it is high in supply so the price will be on the lower end!

Food economics is real try it and see the difference. Never buy something that is not of the season it will be highly-priced.



2. Shop After You Check Your Kitchen

Most likely you have a thriving working kitchen. So all essential spices, sauces, and broths might be with you. So why buy extra and spend more? Do not buy before making sure that it is not at home



3. Shop the Frozen Aisle
