Tahir Baloch, an individual associated with the Sindh Food Authority, demanded a hefty sum of Rs 70,000 to de-seal the bakery. This revelation exposed a deep-rooted corruption network operating within the authority.

The focus of the investigation quickly shifted towards Deputy Director Khadim Hussain, as evidence pointed to his alleged involvement in the corruption scandal. A secret recording obtained by the investigative team captured Tahir Baloch accepting the bribe and assuring the de-sealing of the bakery. However, when confronted, Deputy Director Khadim Hussain vehemently denied any knowledge of the incident, claiming that he was not present in the office at the time the money exchanged hands.

Further investigation revealed that Tahir Baloch was not an official member of the Sindh Food Authority but instead served as the private driver of Deputy Director Khadim Hussain.
