Californian Start-up Permitted For Lab-Grown Meat

FDA has approved the sale of Upside Food's lab-grown chicken. It sounds very twisted but read on to know that it is all well-researched and worked through the product.

The lab-grown chicken is made by growing animal cells in bioreactors. Nutrition is given to developing fat and muscle tissue as the company awaits USDA approval for consumer sales. Many vegans and animal rights supporters have been waiting with bated breath for this news. Lab-grown and meatless meat is the future as many people claim!

Fda announcement shared with all read, “The firm will use animal cell culture technology to take living cells from chickens and grow the cells in a controlled environment to make the cultured animal cell food.”

The next step for Upside Foods is to work on their USDA approval process once that is unlocked, the plans are big. Not only do people want to try this ethical product but also they have plans to sell it to Michelin restaurants.
