The world’s number one band BTS has been riding a high wave for ages. However, their native country South Korea has certain strict rules for their nationals. All able-bodied men between 18-28 have to serve in the military for two years.

In 2020, the parliament and its fans launched a campaign for the band to continue their music. And not opt for the military break. It is important to understand that South Korea is still at war with its nuclear-powered country North Korea.
This special exemption is awarded to Olympic stars, sports personalities, and other high-performing creative people in the country.

BTS Fame

The group has been around for less than a decade but their stardom is unreal. They were named the world’s best-selling artists of 2021 and have had a record-smashing history of their singles and albums. In August 2020, the band announced they want to explore their journey solo. As well as to grow and understand their music better. However, as they announced their military training things seem more uncertain.

On one hand, fans are rooting for 2025 as the year when they release their single. While others are speculating this is a closure of the BTS glory with new chapters for each artist opening up.

Only time will tell how this world sensation will move once their military training is over.
