Chickpeas Burger
The perfect chickpeas burger. Using fresh ingredients that are easily available.
Burger, Fast Food, Chickpeas Burger
Ingredients:
- 1 Cup Chickpeas (Boiled)
- ¼ Tsp Black Pepper Powder
- 1Tbsp Lemon Zest (Grated)
- 1 Tsp Rosemary
- 1 Egg (Beaten)
- 1 Cup Spring Onion (Chopped)
- 1 Tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- ¼ Cup Bread Crumbs
- ½ Cup Parsley
- Salt To Taste
- ½ Cup Walnuts (Roasted)
- 2 Drops Chili Sauce
- 1 Clove Garlic (Chopped)
- 3 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 4 Round Burger Buns
- Mayonnaise As Required
Instructions:
1. In a blender add the boiled chickpeas, black pepper powder, grated lemon zest, rosemary, beaten egg, chopped spring onion, Worcestershire sauce, breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, salt, Walnuts, chili sauce, and chopped garlic.
2. Blend all the ingredients together until they are well combined.
3. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties.
4. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
5. Once the oil is hot, slice the burger buns in half and lightly toast them.
6. Add the patties to the pan and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side or until they turn golden brown and crispy.
7. Once the patties are cooked, assemble the burgers by spreading a dollop of mayonnaise on the bottom half of each bun.
8. Place the cooked patties on top of the mayonnaise and add any additional toppings or condiments you desire.
